I had to replace a hard drive in an old pc because its legs were up in the air. No amount of dropping it and shaking would make it work and I had the good sense to have backup for all the useful data.  So what do you do with a hard drive – whip the top off of course, especially if you’ve never seen inside one.

  2. I’m not sure I’d be the right person for help to fix it – if you want advice on how to take it to pieces that’s another thing. Have a good weekend yourself – we’re having some great weather at the moment, so we can break out the suntan lotion. Whooopeee!
