Ha, yes, I like sci-fi. I took a chance on it, however, and it was really good (it says it is a sci-fi romance). Theres 3 stories in one, it needs a lot of concentration, but it’s worth it just for the arty scenes and music! 🙂 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0414993/
Thanks! Imagination is a powerful thing. At the end of the day, it’s the base of a tree with some fungus growing on the side of it. Anything else is what you bring to it! 😉
Thanks. Amazing really – just a grab shot on the spur of the moment, parked on my hard drive with nowhere to go and it turns out to be my most popular image so far. 😉
Thanks Stevie – for whatever reason, this one seems to be my most popular photo by far – it obviously sparks some kind of romantic triggers in everyone’s head? 🙂
By, George, I think you’re right! 🙂
🙂
knock knock..!
who’s there..?
😉
Fairy
Fairy who?
Fair enough!
Oh 😮 My imagination is going wild about what this Fairy Kingdom would look like 🙂
Now that’s a compliment, thanks! 🙂
I’ll come with you and have a look…… 🙂
But do we really want to find out the truth?……
Are you sure the truth is in there?! 😉
I don’t see why there shouldn’t be as much truth in there as there is out here! 😉
OK – let’s go!
Don’t forget to bring your camera!
Of course 😉
I knew fairies existed! Thanks for proving it to me 😉
Glad to have cleared that question up for you!
I’m always on the look out for fairy trees…your photograph is a great example of one.
AhI sounds as if I need to add something to my ‘keep my eye open for’ list!
It has to be. If you camp out perhaps you’ll see some comings and goings.
I suspect that society may force me to seek help if I did! 😉
OK, we’ll just quietly believe 😉
I can totally see it! 🙂
The evidence is all around us! 🙂
Reblogged this on The Legion of Door Whores and commented:
Had to add this one …
Stephen, I reblogged this on http://legionofdoorwhores.wordpress.com/ – I hope that is OK –
Sure.
Or a hobbit’s house 🙂
Or Leprechauns?
Amazing shot. Love it. Thank you for sharing Stephen. 🙂
Just a record of the amazing things we can find in natural details.
There might not be mushroom in there for the Fairies 😉
They were delivered this morning by the Bogeyman
Stephen Potter at work!
er… thank you!?! – sorry don’t know who Stephen Potter is.
The nephew of Harry
doh! – 🙄 🙂
Wonderful Image, Stephen. I’ll be following your work.
Thank you!
My daughters say yes, and I’ve learned to go with what they say about such things.
As the father of a 19 year daughter, I’ve had to live with that approach for years!
This picture reminds me of the film, “The Fountain” where the tree “bleeds” and gives eternal life to all who drinks.
Such an arty film. 🙂 Great shot.
Sounds like a film I may need to find up – or is it one that’s likely to send me to sleep – I’m more of a sci-fi fan myself.

Okay. Thanks!
Thanks for looking at the street shot.
You’re welcome.
Lovely of you to feature MY place on your blog! It’s nothing fancy, but it’s home.
🙂 – Aaww – if I’d had known it was your place, I’d have knocked and come in for a cuppa!
This must be a magical place.
I won’ describe the location, as it might destroy the illusion! 😉
There are such beautiful places on this earth of ours!
And in the most unlikely places. This was actually on the edge of a drainage ditch between a road and a field.
I think this one is one of my favorites.
Thanks Allison! It was just an incidental detail that caught my eye and some imaginative titling did the rest.
Lovely photograph!
knock knock, who’s there? 🙂
Yes indeed. thanks!
all I can do is smile……..and that is always……a very good thing!!! Thank you!

Oooh, LOVE this! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

hah! Isn’t that the way? 🙂
That is very cool! Love it…and it just HAS to be
Thanks!
Great find – very cool

A perfect image, beautifully presented. A tonic for the imagination. The Craftsman that made that door knew what He was doing!
I think if we believe in fairies, we must believe their skills and powers must be pretty impressive too!
I wonder if they are related to the Elves in my area! 🙂
Maybe it’s a link the Fairy Underground system – disappearing down one hole brings you out at the other – a bit like a ‘Stargate’ .
