Since my visit to the river yesterday (previous post) the water level has dropped by at least 6 feet (2 metres), so I dragged my gear down there for nothing. The wind had picked up significantly and I noticed this bunting flying at 90degrees. The problem was to photograph it in such a way to as to show the loops of bunting – answer, long lens to forshorten the gap between the individual lamposts. In this case 300mm. I just happened to get lucky with the traffic because it was quite busy. Oh – this is the road over the main bridge in Wetherby.
