As it happens, this particular Friday, for the UK only, all the ticket numbers are to be put into a raffle and no less than 100 tickets are to be drawn to rewarded with £1million each – i.e. 100 millionaires are to be created. Again the odds are nonsense but somebody has to win!
You know the advice to not play the lottery but instead pick some crazy long-shot investment? With our recent choices, we’re more likely to retire happily from lottery winnings than our carefully-chosen investments. All in good time, though, I suppose.
