I just liked the hard shape of the lamp against the soft texture of the wall. For various reasons, I couldn’t quite get the angle right without introducing problems to the composition. I did try a black and white version but I preferred it with the beige tones here.

That is beautiful
Thank you.
Just to be a perfectionist, you could crop out the apostrophe in your title. (Former school teacher here. Sorry to nit pick!)
Doh!

Voilà!
and
Thanks!
A few years back it occurred to me that I should teach myself to touch type – with the idea that I just looked at the screen and the words appeared. Now, for the most part I have got somewhere near that dream, however, what doesn’t seem to be quite there is the control mechanism of intellect. A bit like giving a 2 year old a felt-tipped pen. 😳 😉
You’re absolutely right about the beige and softness, though!
🙂
Thank you!
Top shot, Stephen. I like that!!
Thank you!
I might do a ‘sticky out, antique look, lamp on a wall project’ – they seem to be everywhere now. Almost as if we dare not have modern equivalents. 😉
