35 Hours Later

I was driving my lad home from the train station, when I noticed the moon. Thought it would be interesting to grab a shot when I got home.  A bit later in the day than I would have liked, as it had risen further above the horizon than I would have liked – I wanted some foreground detail to set the scene.  I shall have to try to remember to try again in the coming months, if the weather works in my favour – I think I’ve found a reasonable foreground to photograph against it.

300mm lens.

    • He probably got all the pieces made within a few miles of where he lived (he may even have ground his lenses himself?). Mine is made up of myriad of pieces and needed the input of significant numbers of people and then it was shipped halfway round the world.
