Frosty Morning Posted on Friday, 7th December , 2012 by Stephen G. Hipperson A slightly older shot. This taken quite late in the morning but the sun was only just coming round the hill to melt the frost away from the shadow side. ——Stephen——- Share this:TwitterFacebookEmailPinterestLike this:Like Loading... Do you realize how well this fits the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge for today? Changing Seasons is the prompt. This is a beautiful illustration!
I’ve not really investigated the Challenge options.
Like the contrast from green to white.
This is a beautiful image Stephen and a reminder as to why I love Yorkshire so much.
🙂 – Yorkshire folk refer to it as ‘God’s Own County’ .
Amazing, dreamy, beautiful!
Great image and the tight crop (lack of sky) works really well.
As you might guess, leaving the sky out was also a deliberate ploy to avoid exposure problems.
Just so delicately beautiful.. I love the fading of green to white
Glorious! The very essence of England.
🙂 – Aye, lad!
Beautiful echoing lines. So nice.
Wow! This is a great image – SO beautiful – winter when it’s BEST!!!!!
Fabulous! A gorgeous image, Stephen.
Really cool shot Stephen. It definitely begs the viewer to ask why exactly only part of the photo is dusted with snow (or frost in this instance). Good eye catching this!
Beautiful – wish I had been there.
cracking shot Stephen..early morning is the best time of day for landscapes
wide white border between spring and winter 😉
Beautiful landscape! It really looks cold.
I was on the sun side, so it wasn’t so bad – but I was wearing my woolly hat and gloves too.
