I guess my underlying inspiration for the treatment here, whilst I didn’t give it much thought when I took it, was the work of Karl Blossfeldt.
Never mind the the name Stephen, it calls up ‘isolation’ for me – without negative overtones of loneliness or exclusion (the zen of flower arranging beautifully captured in the natural placement of blooms)
