Spent a few hours in Newcastle-upon-Tyne today. The weather was sunny and warm. Whoopee! I can see that Newcastle is a great place for some photography – friendly people too.
The ‘Rusty Chicken’, as they call it locally, is still there. I keep meaning to take a few pictures of it every time I visit my daughter, but I usually whizz past it before I remember – or when I have remembered the conditions are too miserable.
I may have a flick through some negs I took a few years ago, I scanned a couple back then but I have ‘new technology’ now……..
where’s the “angel of the north”, i actually miss that piece of landscape “art”

the ‘rusty chicken’ . . . nice, have to remember that this summer when i’m back in cov, have to sound like a native, accent be damned!
I do like the bridge. So reminds me of Sydney too. (I’ve got pix of the Sydney one)
🙂 – Unfortunately, I didn’t have my wide angle lens with me on this occasion.
I like that photo though. It works as it is.
That picture reminds me of Spender – one of my favourite TV shows.
🙂 – not a programme I used to watch. Thanks.
