I think this one is beautiful, normally we would expect a tree picture to be focused on leaf canopy or blossom but this is of the strength and the heart of the tree – wonderful

Like a vase of flower stems…very unusual!
I don’t know if it’s a coppiced tree or it just happened like that.
I have a soft spot for trees and this one has a wonderful shape. As you say, I wonder if it’s been coppiced ….
If I get out to the wood in the winter I’ll try to remember to check it out. 😉
