looks a great place Stephen..never been there myself unfortunately…I love the new header photo
First time I’d been. Worth the trip, the town is quite nice, there’s the castle, River Swale and Easby Abbey is not far away.
Breathtaking, each one! I love the landscape from above. Note to self: must climb any observation tower or steeple or turret I come across.

As a general rule, I’m not into height for landscapes but the added value of the colours at this time of year allows me to make a special exception. 😉
