You’re right about the people who made these things – one of the reasons that attracts me to doing the church thing – some of the craftsmanship is awesome, especially when we bear in mind the hand tools they had to use.
I do so agree.
My husband makes beautiful things… handmade things…. whatever it needs to be.
It’s an art form that is being / has been lost in some or even many? instances.
The churches are full of artisan’s works and history.
I can understand (and even share) your attraction to these.
