Wonderful shot. Love the composition and contrast between the background and the gray statue.
Took me a few minutes to work out the best viewpoint. I have a few variants which I need to ‘knock up’ into some sort of sense – I always shoot RAW so am always behind on where I want to be!
Indeed…seems like its a problem for me as well. Sometimes I only get one photo out of a shoot that I’m happy with. Shooting in RAW format definitely slows the selection process down quite a bit, but the end results are worth the effort. Lately I’ve been shooting in RAW/Jpeg combination, so that helps weed out the “rotten” shots much faster…as least for me.
Take care, ~ Dave

This is quite beautiful, your caption is very fitting.
Very nice Stephen…I love this!! ~ Dave
Shot with a 50mm? Just wondering.
Thanks!
Nope – 200mm, f4.5

This sculpture has a distinctive and a (to me at least) unusual style; very appealing.
I could have spent ages photographing it but time was limited. I have one or two more of the work that I plan on posting.
Great title
Thank you!
Nicely framed.
Thanks
