This at Manchester Airport, England. I took this while waiting for my daughter to go through the check-in process for a trip to ‘straila – which she enjoyed very much, thanks to the legendary hospitality of the Australians (I think she’s a convert now!).
I shot this through a rather dirty window, so contrast was a bit low – I’ve helped it along more than a little. Unfortunately, in this neck of the woods dirt on windows is a way of life. It’s primarily from the fall-out of rain clouds – if it’s not soot from power stations it’s likely to be fine sand particles from the Sahara.

I’m pleased to hear that ‘Straya was good to your daughter! 🙂
🙂 – she’s already looking ways and means of returning! 🙂
A really good photo!
Thank you!
Nice lines!
They are what attracted my eye, I had to do a fair bit of contrast adjustment to overcome the double glazed windows typical of an airport.
