That’s a beautiful photo! The candle effect is perfect! The Santas look truly forlorn, as if they’re going into hibernation. Or maybe they’re simply tired and are ready for a looong nap.
What a pleasant surprise…I have a Santa almost exactly like one of yours…I found mine at the thrift store…then I found a Christmas tree to pair him with…I always hate putting him away after Christmas and love getting him out again when the next Christmas season rolls around 🙂
We bought a potted Christmas, so it’s in the garden now and permanent reminder of the holiday seasons! Rest assured, we did remove the decorations from it first. Though I was kind of tempted to leave them on!
Champion! We’ve used the same ‘plastic’ one for the last 15+ years plus. Every year I promise we’ll have another one for next year, but the ol’ faithful is in the attic ready for next year again.
But isn’t it great when you open them all again in 11 months time and unwrap the treasures.

I must admit that I have no idea where ours come from…. but there’s usually an addition to the clan of characters I have to put away each year.
