He was truly an amazing talent and a very generous mentor of young musicians. I wish I had seen him in concert, but I never had the chance. I hope the exhibit “Bowie Is” will travel around the country. We saw it in Chicago and it is a wonderful tribute to him.
Bowie’s music has been a favourite of mine since his early days – and will, no doubt, be listened to by me for many a year to come. I had the good fortune of attending a concert at Wembley Stadium, London as part of his Glass Spider Tour.
I only saw him the once, but I can’t say I was overly impressed with the concert – Wembley Stadium isn’t the best place. Still, that doesn’t stop him from being my favourite male artist!
A great loss…
Very true.

Such sad news.

Aren’t you lucky! It’s a favorite of mine as well and will always be.
Absolutely!
Truly one of a kind ….
I saw him live twice…both times were amazing. RIP

Leeds Queens hall (i think) in the 70’s before he was really famous and then in birmingham in late 80’s with tin machine.
