Don’t you just hate (1)

Aside

Don’t you just hate trying to print out a couple photos and finding your ink cartridge is dry and through your own incompetence realising you don’t have a spare.

Of course, I won’t mention the ridiculous price of the ink cartridge will be when I send for it……… grrrrr.

Thanks Again!

Just a quick note to say another ‘Thank you’ to everyone.

Because of your continued interest in my blog, I have reached the second of my personal targets, far sooner than I expected.  To be honest, I’m not particularly interested in such things in the context of blogging, but I set myself a couple of gauge points just to monitor whether my posts were of interest.

Again, I won’t share this target with you, because that’s when achievement becomes competitive, and, in my book, blogging shouldn’t be about competition. But I appreciate your interest  – without it I’m not sure it’s such a worthwhile activity.

Just to reiterate, I’m happy to take any comments/advice – whether it’s good news or bad.

Many many thanks.

Folding Up

Aside

I’ve created myself a new blog. To a certain extent completely OTT but I felt it needed to be done for my thinking process.  Essentially, the new blog is restricted to a small project that I’ve started, in which I will be using my two classic folding cameras – a Balda and a Voightlander Bessa 1.  Both are medium format cameras using 120 film.  (12 shots on the Balda and 8 on the Bessa!)

Just a quick note to say ‘Thank you’ to everyone.  I’ve not been blogging long, but you have made me feel so welcome.  Because of your interest in my blog I have reached a personal target, far sooner than I might have wished for.  Although I’m not really interested in such things, it’s inevitable that I should be grabbed by the stats at the beginning and had picked two particular ‘measures’ as a sort of litmus of whether what I was doing was acceptable.

I won’t share the target with you, because that’s when achievement becomes competitive, and, in my book, blogging shouldn’t be about competition.

Many many thanks.
