Oh dear, oh dear. Just when I was having fun too! It seems as if the graphics card in my pc has decided to retire from active life – it gives me a few minutes and then throws it’s toys out the pram – a temperature problem I think. It’s going to have to wait until after the festive period for me to fix it – more important things to do.

PS My graphics card packed in about a month ago as well (only 2 years old and I think it was overheating too). The upside: two years is a long time with technology and I ended up buying a superior card that was now listed as a budget option and consequently quite cheap.

Bad luck the gfx card. Hopefully it might be cheap/simple fix such as cleaning out the fan on the card or in the PC case. I must admit that I’m a little paranoid and constantly monitor/log my cpu, gpu, etc, temperatures.
I won’t bore you to what lengths I tried this and that to get the ol’ girl up and running. But I’ve a new card now.
