These were in a holiday rental we had.
At home mozzies rarely get to full speed and can often be caught in mid-air. In warmer climes they seem to get to much faster speeds – when an extra extension to reach is needed.
(in the old days, my parents would have worked these into a discipline routine, but, apparently we’re not allowed to do such things nowadays! 😉 )
And so satisfying when put to work!
You’ve got it right there – mozzies and I don’t have a very good relationship, so any opportunity……
Excellent photo Stephen.. made me smile
🙂
You are prepared, it’s still a rolled up newspaper in our house!

Two of them, no less. May I recommend a cat or two. They’re quite good at catching insects of any kind. 🙂
There’s more chance of me winning the lottery than keeping one cat let alone two! 😉
It does have a holiday house feel. They are so clean and new! Sort of a ‘don’t complain’ sign for the guests. Nice shot Stephen.
Thank you. They made a comforting swish as they passed through the air.
Weapons of minor destruction!
And for such a small outlay too!
